Metronor SOLO

The Metronor SOLO Probe system is a flexible and cost-efficient solution for a wide variety of applications. The wireless handheld probe is easy to use and measures features hidden from view thanks to the deep-probing capabilities of the Metronor Lightpen.

Fast to learn and very durable, SOLO Probe measures up to 25m from the camera (longer with available options) and is unique in offering excellent probing in larger measurement volumes.

Metronor SOLO offers full CMM capability, including comparison of just about any geometry to CAD data or blueprint.

About this system

Ideally suited where fast setup, ease of use and high portability are critical, it can be operated through a wireless connection – without having to carry pedestals or other holding devices with you to stabilize the camera. There is also no need to level the camera, since the camera is the zero point in 6 degrees of freedom for any measurement.

A special MIL-STD version of Metronor SOLO is also in operational use with several air forces as part of the ground support kit for maintenance of military jets, adding to its credibility as being reliable, versatile and adaptable.
